ABOUT ARMENIAN AMERICAN NURSES AND ALLIED HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION.
As the professional organization of Armenian American Nurses & Allied Health Care Association, AANAAHCA will uphold a positive image in the community, make the welfare and education of its constituent members a primary goal, promote professional excellence, and contribute services to improve the healthcare of the community and society at large.
Purpose:
- The purpose of the association is to provide member and community education, community outreach health care programs and health information.
- Promote the nursing profession in the community by providing scholarships to nursing students of Armenian descent.
- The Association serves as a resource for its members by networking with other professional Armenian health organizations.
- Conduct research and provide programs for professional growth and development.
- Provide continuing education, and nursing practice updates to nurses and allied health professionals, and offer Continuing Education (CE) hours.
- AANAAHCA partners in planning and collaborates in health conferences nationally and internationally.
